The Mistral finally blew itself out on Day 4, permitting the Race Committee to run two coastal courses for the 52 participating yachts in breezes that started at 15 knots and slowly faded as the afternoon wore on.

Day 5 (Friday) saw the winds lighten further bringing some changes to the podium positions of several divisions and leaving many in the fleet heading into the final day (Saturday) with everything still to play for.

On Day 4 the Bow Caddy team followed the Maxi 72s south to the turning point of the scenic granite Mortorio islands and Motoriotto islets, with the rest of the fleet following. Crosbie Lorimer captured these images on the day. Keep an eye out for the Bow Caddy Video of Day 4 action coming soon.
