Rio 2016 Paralympic Games - That golden moment - Helena Lucas

As the only female in the fleet, Lucas topped an experienced field of world champions to please the home crowd. 'A home games always make it that much more special,' according to Lucas.

After years of training and focus, Lucas explains her golden feeling, 'The first emotion is kind of relief. When it finally sinks in you are on cloud nine.'

As defending Paralympic champion, Lucas will need to be at her best at Rio 2016 to keep hold of her gold medal.
