XXB0812 Powerclutch Spinlock
TSR High Load Organisers are popular with both performance yachts and OEM, with recent applications found on the TP52, Fast 40 and Swan 115. A true high load organiser and diverter, the TSR range offers reduced size and weight coupled with sheave spacing flexibility.

New TSR versions include both 20mm and 30mm Sheave options, Low profile sheaves for diverting lines forward of winches and jammers, Fixed Non-Rotating Sheaves and Titanium parts and fasteners for further weight saving.

• 20mm and 30mm diameter alloy sheaves
• 30mm sheaves for higher loads or faster or larger diameter lines
• All rotating sheaves with plain bearings
• Fixed Sheaves can be inserted in the organiser to further increase deflection loads and reduce unit weight
• Alloy top rails
• Modular design and assembly – Sheaves can be moved to any spacing in 1mm increments
• Tulip shaped design reduces friction from vertical defection
• Low profile design
• Simple inserting and removal of endless lines
• Central shaft designed to spread load through laminate
• Titanium parts available to further reduce weight

The new XXB0812 Powerclutch offers 2300kgs of load holding performance on 12mm line, using Spinlock Ceramic Jaw technology. The XXB0812 is aimed at customers who require greater performance than XX0812, but do not need the 30% weight saving and higher cost of XXC0812 and would prefer not to use a jammer.

All standard XX0812 are shipped with a small modification that allows Spinlock Ceramic Jaws to be used in them. XXB-KIT is the part number for this upgrade.

We are now able to offer ceramic coated cam and case for the XTS and XCS clutch range. The ceramic coated parts offer improved engagement onto the loaded line, consistent rope holding performance and long term resistance to polishing of gripping surfaces by high speed powered lines.

Whilst the working load limit remains the same, the ceramic cam and base also offer improved holding on performance rope cover and smaller diameters.

The ZS0810 Jammer has always been popular due to its compact size and high load holding performance. Often mounted at the top of masts remotely operated as a lock and on foredecks for tack line control, the ZS0810 is now available with ceramic jaws and with a lightweight body.

Precision milling has reduced the finished weight by 36% and ceramic coated jaws offer improved engagement onto the loaded line, consistent rope holding performance and long term resistance to polishing of gripping surfaces by high speed powered lines.

Spinlock Sense range of mobile load cells is designed to be attached between any two loaded points, be it a fibre rope or hardware, with options to either display the data on a colour OLED Screen or wirelessly over long distances via the latest Bluetooth LE, to a mobile device such as a smart phone, tablet or PC. MOD70 and Team Macif have both been using Sense in the last few months to optimise their set ups and ensure that design loads are verified in the dynamic and difficult-to-model marine environment.

Real-time actual Load for the selected line is displayed continuously under way, Peak Load displayed both during and after the session and is then stored in the all new Sense-App (LWS version). This also allows settings to be placed on the device such as ‘ Load Alarms’, maximum and minimum, for load critical applications, such as running back stays, or even repeat loads for sail trimming. The Sense-App's allow the user to record data about the session, such as name of application, geo location, conditions, add an image and share/export the data for further analysis.

Models:
• LDS/10 Digital Sense with OLED display only, 10T maximum mobile load cell
• LDS/5 Digital Sense with OLED display only, 5T maximum mobile load cell
• LWS/10 Wireless Sense with Bluetooth LE connection only, 10T maximum mobile load cell (No Display)
• LWS/5 Wireless Sense with Bluetooth LE connection only, 5T maximum mobile load cell (No Display)

20T and 50T custom units available to order. For larger units please contact us directly.

Rig-Sense is starting to be used by Dinghy and Keelboat sailors wanting to accurately tune their rig, with fleets such as J70, Etchells, Dragon, RS800 and Fireball now referencing Spinlock Rig-Sense settings. In the background we are working hard with fleets and sailmakers to gain awareness and support the transition to using Rig-Sense.

Spinlock Rig-Sense offers consistent and repeatable measurement of loads on wire and fibre. Compact, durable, lightweight and easy to handle, Rig-Sense uses a composite leaf spring that is calibrated to output repeatable tensile load readings to a direct linear scale in kg, rather than having to check and calculate loads on a complicated set of tables. With Rig-Sense you can quickly and reliably take your readings to compare and adjust if needed against base settings.

Designed for 2-5mm wire and fibre cable, Rig-Sense accurately displays rig loads on a clear, simple and durable etched display, ensuring teams can tune their rig with confidence. Due to its innovative design and use of materials such as stainless steel for the contact points and composite leaf spring, Rig Sense can be taken from boat to boat and loaned to others, confident in being able to share repeatable rig settings.
