The Phuket King's Cup: very much in demand Guy Nowell / Phuket King's Cup
The Phuket King’s Cup Regatta will again put on a spectacular display of the finest sailing talent from around the world, competing in the Andaman Seas to win the greatest sailing trophy in all of Asia from 3-10 December, 2016. This 30th anniversary year is a culmination of the hard work, dedication, passion and heritage which have been hallmarks of this regatta since its inauguration in 1987.

Over 150 boats and more than 1,500 sailors from around the world will be represented in this year’s regatta, making the 30th Anniversary Phuket King’s Cup Regatta one of the most significant in the event’s history. The Regatta serves as a prestigious platform for sponsors looking to Asia for growth, and boasts a long record of delivering successful sponsorship programmes for supporters.

The Regatta’s series of beachside parties is legendary, attracting huge numbers of VIP guests, world-class sailors, participants and local and international media from around the world. This gives participating sponsors a chance to connect to both customers and business stakeholders in an exciting and rewarding programme of sponsorship and engagement.

Many past sponsors of the Phuket King’s Cup Regatta return year after year to enjoy the public connection and media appeal generated by this classic race. Last year’s sponsors included Principal Host Sponsor Kata Group Resorts Thailand, and Strategic Partners: The Government Lottery Office (GLO), Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), and Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT). Co-Sponsors were Central Pattana, PTT PLC, Siam Winery & Montclair and Haadthip PCL.
