New Mercury 9.9hp outboard the lightest in its class – with optional electric start Mercury Marine
Mercury Marine is introducing a new 9.9hp TwoStroke outboard that is the lightest in its class – an ultralight, compact and portable engine which provides exceptional power.

Weighing in from just 26kg (57lbs), the new 169cc model is not only easier to lift and carry than competitive products, its compact design means it’s simple to handle.

And an optional push-button electric start model makes it a pleasure to operate for boaters young and old, male and female.

Mercury’s new 9.9hp TwoStroke features loop charge combustion which delivers reliable performance and better fuel economy so owners can stay out longer and go further on every tank of fuel.

Trips will also be more enjoyable, with through-prop exhaust reducing engine noise for a quieter boating experience.

It’s an engine which ticks every box;

• Ultralight from just 26 kgs
• Simple push-button electric start as an option
• Compact design for easy handling
• Reliable and economical
• Pleasantly quiet

Mercury outboards, including the new 9.9hp TwoStroke are recognised universally for their lightweight, compact designs as well as their exceptional durability, reliability and performance.

As with all outboards in Mercury’s extensive lineup – from 2.5 through to 400hp – the new 9.9hp TwoStroke enjoys the industry’s leading anti-corrosion protection provides.

Owners will gain additional peace of mind knowing that Mercury’s unmatched service network will always be there to provide product and customer support.

Mercury’s new 9.9hp TwoStroke is available through all Mercury Outboard Dealers.
