Over the weekend of 6-7 August, Rutland Sailing Club will once again be hosting the RYA Sailability Multi-Class Regatta. Entry forms are now available online with reduced entry fee until 22 July.

The RYA Sailability Multiclass Regatta is the largest in the UK of its kind, offering two days of action-packed racing in classes 2.4mR, Challenger, Hansa, Kinsman, Laser Stratos, SKUD, Sonar and SQUIB.

On Friday 05 August, sailors will also be able to benefit from an extra days’ optional training with a qualified racing coach with tips and pointers on how to get ahead in the fleet.

This year’s event will incorporate the Hansa Grand Prix Series 2016 and Hansa (European) Nord CUP Series 2016. Also for the first time an informal Hansa 'Blue Fleet' short course racing series will be held for Hansa competitors who may not wish to compete in the main event- perfect for beginners.

With racing on offer for all abilities, the regatta is a fantastic opportunity to meet sailors from other classes.

Debbie Blachford, RYA Sailability Manager, said: “We are really looking forward to the return of the Multi Class Regatta this year, as it is an amazing opportunity for sailors across the country to get out on the water regardless of experience level.

“There will be something for everyone across the weekend, whether you want some top racing tips or just to socialise with other sailors. We look forward to seeing everyone there.”
