Will they bring home the Bacon again?

by Rob Kothe on 21 Aug 2004 Last week at Hogs Breath Race Week, John and Lyndall Bacon’s Sydney 39CR won five races in a row to take the Premier Cruising Division at Hogs Breath Race Week.

Their first five races ever as the Pittwater couples boat was only launched in mid-July.
Lyndall is an interior decorator and below decks, the big saloon is beautifully fitted out for cruising, but below the water line, she is all racer.

This week at Hamilton is kick back time, four couples all good friends from Palm Beach Yacht Club are in cruising mode, but it seems that no one has told their boat, Hussy. It seems this Hussy has no shame at all she just wants to keep winning.

Today the Sydney 39, took line honours from Greg McMahon’s 44 footer Afternoon

Geoff Pearson and his newly named Northshore 369 yacht ‘Nautica Footwear’ have a good grip on third place.
