22nd Annual Leukemia Cup Regatta at The New York Yacht Club The Leukemia Cup Regatta
2016 Atlantic City Race Week Leukemia Cup Regatta - The New Jersey Chapter of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) is honored to be hosting the Atlantic City Race Week Leukemia Cup Regatta at The Golden Nugget July 22nd - 24th, 2016.

Sailors will raise their sails and thousands of dollars in the race against blood cancer. Non-racing sailors, power boaters, and anyone else can join the fun!

In addition to sailing, “Cruising for Cures” is a component of the regatta where power boaters can come and dock their boats at the beautiful Farley Marina or guests can arrive via land at the Golden Nugget in Atlantic City, watch the races, and enjoy great food and company.

Join us Friday, July 22nd for a cocktail party and live music. Tickets are $20.00 Saturday, July 23rd will be a day of racing followed by a festive barbecue banquet that will include live music, a raffle and an auction. Tickets are $45.00.

Come to sail, cruise, and/or just to enjoy the spirited parties with live entertainment both Friday and Saturday nights. Tickets for these events can be purchased at event website. Please email Heather Davidson at Heather.Davidson@lls.org with any questions.

World Class Sailor Gary Jobson, leukemia survivor, and the National Chairman of the Leukemia Cup Regatta will be joining us at this year’s event!

Even if you cannot attend our events, you can get a fundraising page and win the many incentive prizes including a West Marine Shopping Spree and North Sails Discounts. Anyone raising $12,000 or more will go to California for a Fantasy Sail with Gary Jobson! Friends and family will be excited to help LLS fund more research and provide more patient services and you will get to enjoy all of the fundraising prizes! Fundraising for these events will continue throughout the summer and fall so you have plenty of time to reach your incentive levels.

We are grateful to Dan Dagit (Atlantic City Race Week Committee Chair) and Kim Hancock (Rear Commodore of The Mid-Atlantic Yacht Racing Association). Both are Ocean City Yacht Club members. Our sincere thanks also to all participants and yacht clubs involved in this inspirational event.

This regatta weekend is held to help excel the research not just for blood cancer cures but to help develop more breakthrough therapies for all types of cancer. LLS also raises funds to provide better treatments and services to blood cancer patients and their families. Despite amazing progress, more funding is needed to advance research and ensure access to treatments to help save more lives.

Just click here to see more details about the events, register and begin fundraising today and let’s adjust our sails, get the wind at our backs, and start racing towards better treatment and cures. You are the beacons as we navigate towards making Someday, Today!

We are glad to help. If you have any questions, would like to set up a fundraising page, or would like to donate, please do not hesitate to contact Heather Davidson at Heather.Davidson@lls.org.
