RYA British Youth Sailing announces partnership with Adidas Sailing

by Imogen Stanley on 15 Mar 2016 The RYA British Youth Sailing Programme are delighted to announce their new partnership with Adidas Sailing. They will supply onshore clothing, as well as a range of on the water technical clothing for RYA British Youth Sailing Programme members.

Adidas Sailing were on the British Youth Sailing/Volvo Cars stand at the RYA Suzuki Dinghy Show on March 5 to sign the final contract with Youth Racing Manger Mark Nicholls.

All RYA British Youth Sailing Programme members will able to purchase branded onshore Adidas Sailing clothing to wear at squad camps, national and international events. Sailors will also have the opportunity to purchase on water Adidas Sailing clothing at a generously discounted rate.

British Youth Sailing staff and coaches will also be provided with branded Adidas Sailing clothing to assist with their work.

Nicholls said: “British Youth Sailing are really looking forward to working with Adidas Sailing over the next year, they have a great background in high performance sports equipment, and it should be a strong partnership.

“Having provided clothing for our British team at the Youth Worlds earlier this year in Malaysia, the feedback from the team was positive so we’re extremely pleased the relationship will continue into 2016,” concluded Nicholls.

Adidas Sailing are one of the leaders in technical footwear and already work with a number of sailing teams.
