One lucky visitor to the biggest-ever Gold Coast International Marine Expo will this year win the event’s biggest-ever boating prize – a brilliant bowrider boating package worth well over $40,000.

This fully equipped, ready-to-go boating package will get you, your family and friends safely out on the water and immediately making memories in fine style.

The awesome prize combination includes a 2016 Quintrex 490 Cruiseabout and a full range of accessories including safety pack, aluminium trailer and all applicable registrations.

“Every ticket purchased through the website will be in the draw to win this fantastic family prize, supplied courtesy of one of our generous Expo exhibitors, Surf Coast Marine,” said Expo’s Event and Marketing Manager, Emma Brown.

“There’s never been a better time to go online and purchase your tickets for ‘the boat show with so much more’ at Coomera from 19-22 Surf Coast Marine’s dealer principal Paul Banning said the 2016 Quintrex 490 Cruiseabout is a very versatile bowrider that is suitable for all types of boating with up to five adults onboard.

“Quintrex’s latest release is perfect for fishing as well as family fun, with plenty of room for relaxing in its large and luxurious front lounge,” he said.

“It has a seriously sporty look with its blade hull and flared bow providing optimal performance.”

The Expo online ticket prize includes the 2016 Quintrex 490 Cruiseabout with a sporty, coloured hull, boat registration, a powerful Evinrude 75hp outboard engine, a bimini for respite from the elements, a Lowrance fish-finder to help you track your prized catch, a comprehensive safety pack, a tough aluminium trailer and also full trailer registration.

Gold Coast Boat and Jetski Licensing has also offered combined training and testing for the lucky winner to attain their full boat and PWC licence.

The growing Gold Coast International Marine Expo – now in its sixth year – is gearing up for its biggest Expo ever from 19-22 May 2016 after being named Australia’s Best Exhibition at the 2015 Australian Event Awards.

On display at the Expo in 2016 will be hundreds of exhibitors displaying everything from luxury motor and sailing yachts to jet skis and water toys, engines and accessories to kayaks and fishing equipment … in fact everything you and your family need to enjoy life on the water.

There will also be interactive activities, demonstrations and live attractions every 15 minutes across the giant 3km Expo display circuit.

Mrs Brown said Expo is the boat show for ‘real boaties’ and visitors will need more than one day to fully appreciate everything there is to see and do throughout its four fun-filled days from 19-22 May.

“This amazing boating package is the biggest prize ever offered by Expo and a great incentive for visitors to pre-purchase their Expo tickets and use the priority red-carpet entrance and skipping the queues for quick entry to our massive marine showcase,” she said.

“Every single day ticket purchased online will be in with a chance to win, and multiple-day tickets will receive multiple entries … one for each day.

“On behalf of our marine industry, with special thanks to Surf Coast Marine – one of our biggest Expo exhibitors – for supporting Expo and offering such a fantastic prize package for our visitors.

Surf Coast Marine will have all the latest Quintrex models on display, powered by Evinrude and Suzuki engines. Their brother dealership, Broadwater Boating Centre, will also have an extensive display of Quintrex and Yamaha packages and visitors will be able to sea-trial a huge range of their current models only at Expo.

“Thanks also to Gold Coast Boat and Jetski Licensing for helping us to further grow awareness of the Expo and reward one lucky visitor for pre-purchasing their tickets online.

“It is the ongoing support from our marine industry partners that continues to ensure the Expo really is: ‘the boat show with so much more’.”

Expo will be staged right in the heart of the unique Gold Coast Marine Precinct at Coomera from 19-22 May 2016 and offers easy access with free parking right at the Expo welcome gate.
