2016 Tasmanian Game Fishing – Game fish of magnificent proportions are currently being caught along Tassie's East Coast. These comprise of Bluefin Tuna, Mako Sharks, Yellowfin Tuna, Yellowtail Kingfish, Dolphin Fish and Striped Marlin.

Charter operators tell of fishers taking bag limits on each and every trip and just for something different, are bottom bouncing with baits for gemfish, blueye trevalla plus big striped trumpeter.

With water temps hovering around 22C, the game fishing in Tasmania looks like it’s really about to fire!
