If you are planning to cruise offshore next year or in the future, then the Ocean Sailing Forum is the perfect opportunity to expand your knowledge and learn some top tips from the 'experts'. It is FREE to attend!

We hosted our first Ocean Sailing Forum at the Toronto Show on January 9th, if you missed it you will have a new chance to attend this Saturday!

Our next Ocean Sailing Forum will be held in Association the Toronto Boat Show 2016. This year we are excited to announce that we will host two Forums, one each Saturday.

Andy Schell from the Caribbean 1500, 59 North Sailing and SAIL magazine, will lead a two hour discussion with a panel of experts to talk about the preparation required for ocean sailing, from selecting equipment to sailing with children, offshore communications to sail plans. There will be a special emphasis on the requirements for the Caribbean 1500, and Atlantic sailing.

The Ocean Sailing Forum Panel
Speakers will include Distant Shores TV personalities Paul & Sheryl Shard, together with Ian & Joy Winterborn who have recently completed an Atlantic circuit from Canada to Europe and back via the Caribbean. All highly experienced sailors with a wealth of experience and knowledge to share.

Schedule
The discussion starts prompt at 10:30am and will finish by 12:30. The presentation room is open from 10am for a chance to mingle and chat with other sailors and our expert panel.

Registration
The forum is FREE to attend, but pre-registration is essential to guarantee your place.
