2015 -16 Clipper Round the World Yacht Race - In a nail biting race to the finish line, the Clipper Race fleet is closing in on Airlie Beach for the conclusion of Race six: Henri Lloyd Hobart to Whitsundays Race.

Deputy Race Director, Mark Light says: “The Clipper Race fleet is continuing to make very good progress and getting very close now. It is still anybody’s race and there will some very nervous and excited crews out there……

'What a finish we have coming up later tonight!!!'

Mission Performance is currently around 135nm behind the 11th placed boat after stopping to render assistance to a sailing vessel with an injured crew member stuck up the mast. The Race Committee is awarding the team 11 hours 39 minutes redress for the incident.
