Wild Oats XI took to the waters of Sydney Harbour again today, four months after participating in the 2015 Transpac Race and for her first sail following major surgery in the intervening period.
The crew spent several hours on the harbour this afternoon hoisting and testing various sails in a 12-14 knot nor'east seabreeze - ideal conditions for a first sail in her new configuration.
The Bow Caddy team of Crosbie and Dale Lorimer captured these images and this video as Wild Oats XI sailed in late afternoon sun in the lower reaches of the harbour.
