2nd: Allegro - Alan Young
3rd: Crystal Cutter - Bill Humel
Once again the Inner Circle Rum Wednesday Race at MHYC produced spectacular racing in brilliant sunshine and a tricky westerly wind. In Division 1, David Bull in his Sydney 32 One Design, Jester, sailed a strong race to hold out the fast finishing Farr 36 One Design sailed by Inner Circle Rum proprietor Stuart Gilbert at the start/finish line off MHYC.
In Division 2, John Lehmann sailing Max-Rated, enjoyed the tricky final beat into Middle Harbour with Allegro and Crystal Cutter close behind. With the wind slowly dying the placegetters opened a huge gap on the remainder of the Fleet.
Back at MHYC Members and their Guests enjoyed the traditional sausage sizzle, meat tray raffle, rules quiz whilst post race analysis was in process.
