2015-2016 Old Mutual Top Dog Trophy Series – The Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club is pleased to announce Connexion d’Art (CXA), the French luxury mobile phone provider as the Official Mobile Telephone Partner.

CXA will award a premium signature CXA mobile handheld device, customized for the Series with a unique sailing motif, to the overall Tog Dog Trophy Series winning skipper, following the HKRNVR Memorial Vase on 30 April 2016.

CXA is proud to partner the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club and this historic series of events. “We think it’s important that the tradition and the spirit of the Top Dog Trophy Series events be continued and to recognise and reward the individual who sails well, demonstrates good sportsmanship, and exhibits the true spirit of the Top Dog Trophy, both on the water and ashore” said Ludovic de Lageard, CEO and Founder.

The 2015-2016 Old Mutual Top Dog Trophy Series continues this Saturday 21 November with the second of four events – The Lipton Trophy presented by Old Mutual - with the cumulative results of all four races used to determine the top skipper in Hong Kong.

The other three events that make up the series are this past weekend’s Marriott Rewards Around the Island Race and next year’s Tomes Cup on 30 January and the HKRNVR Memorial Vase on 30 April.

All of the races are of the pursuit variety meaning each boat or class of boats is given staggered start times based on its assigned handicap rating (RHKATI number) which, in a perfect race, should result in all boats finishing at around the same time.
