La Little Cup débute le 12 septembre au large de la Société Nautique de Genève. Benoît Morelle nous parle des objectifs du team.

« Nous souhaitons naviguer propre et être fiers de ce que nous avons réalisé, » précise Benoit Morelle. «Nous allons naviguer le mieux possible, terminer toutes les manches sans casser le bateau. Remporter une manche, sera la cerise sur le gâteau ! Tout est possible et nous y croyons dur comme fer ! Nous sommes prêts à tout, Cogito est un voilier fiable, qui peut affronter des conditions soutenues, ce qui n’est pas forcément le cas de tous les catamarans engagés, parfois très fragiles. D’un autre point de vue, notre Class C n’est pas le plus récent de la flotte; il n’a pas de foils et ne vole donc pas. Si le vent est léger, nous pouvons marcher très fort et certainement remporter des manches. Nous avons sans aucun doute un gros potentiel dans le petit temps. »

American Magic sailed Tuesday revealing an interesting deck layout including aft facing cyclors American Magic rolled out their new AC75 at 5.45am on Tuesday, with the first set of slightly asymmetric race foils, rudder and rig all in place and revealing an interesting deck layout putting the helms and trimmers side by side and well forward.
