BEP and Mastervolt transform CZone with the new Touch 10

Mastervolt, the market leaders in off-grid power systems, has announced the arrival of the next generation of CZone displays, the Touch 10.

Housed within a sleek, low-profile aluminum case, the Touch 10 allows for the seamless operation of a boat or RV’s entire CZone digital switching and Masterbus power electronics system, along with clear readouts of tank levels, voltages and other important information.

The name of the new display highlights the very latest in capacitive touch screen technology, enabling the user to swipe through the menus just as they would with a smartphone. No scroll bar is required. The 10 refers to the size, 10.1in (27.5cm) across, allowing a simple retrofit from the older 8in and 10in models.

Increased functionality
Whilst the new display has been designed to grace the dashboard of any high-end boat or specialist vehicle, functionality has also been improved. The screen is now wider, upgraded from a 4:3 aspect ratio to a widescreen 16:10 format. To enhance the sharpness of the images, and to deliver more information per page, the resolution has also been increased from 800 x 600 on the old model to 1280 x 800 on the new Touch 10.

Viewing in bright sunshine has also been improved with IPS LCD technology for high contrast with wide viewing angles, with LED backlighting that is fully dimmable for working at night.

Easy to fit
Always conscious of the needs of installers, Mastervolt has furnished the Touch 10 with an unobtrusive marine specification mounting system giving quick and easy access to the rear connectors, while providing an IP66 rated seal. CZone is a highly versatile plug and play digital switching system, so the display unit features no less than four different types of network sockets, each protected by a waterproof cap. These include USB 2.0, 10/100MBps Ethernet, GPIO (8-pin General Purpose), and a 5-pin NMEA2000.

With sleek good looks, easy viewing in even the brightest sunshine, a sharp image and easy operation, the new sprayproof Touch 10 offers an outstanding interface between an owner and their CZone systems.
