2015 Ora Cup Ora Meeting degli Ulivi Sailing Regatta Circolo Vela Arco
Ora Cup Ora-Meeting degli Ulivi celebrating the twentieth edition with a participation of exception: the team of Abu Dhabi is participating with 12 sailors, on the occasion of a 12 days camp, that the sailors of the United Arab Emirates organized at Circolo Vela Arco together with the laser team that belongs to the same Abu Dhabi Sailing and Yacht Club. Four coaches and 22 athletes have chosen the Garda Trentino for an international training in a natural “gym” worldwide known and gradually discovered by new emerging countries of the world of sailing, such as United Arab Emirates.

Three days dedicated to the most popular youth sailing class in the name of celebrations, of being together, as well as of competitive spirit, with pizza party and a lottery with great prizes in the final draw for all participants. The 'Ora Cup Ora-Meeting degli Ulivi' is born as the first regatta organized during “Ferragosto”, famos Italian soliday in the middle of August: 'Throughout Italy there was no race dedicated to young people upon Ferragosto’s days, so we thought about it here at Circolo Vela Arco, to establish an Optimist regatta, who gradually increased the participation and became international - said Carlo Pompili, President of the Circolo Vela Arco at the time of the birth of the race. 'Today many other events exist at this days, which often forced us to change slightly the dates, but the Ora Cup Ora remains a summer event for Italian sailors and for many foreigners who choose the Garda to train and have a sport holiday in the nature' - said the current President of the Circolo Vela Arco Luca Nardelli.

Austria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Malta, Netherlands, Slovenia, United Arab Emirates and of course Italy are the nations for this three days, which certainly will provide entertainment and action!
