Will at the Races - A rugged start to the SSANZ 100

by Sail-World.com on 8 Aug 2015
Battle Stations aboard Anarchy - SSANZ 100 - Start Will Calver - Ocean Photography http://www.oceanphotography.co.nz/
The ubiquitous Will Calver of Ocean Photography, was on the water for the start of the SSANZ 100 on Saturday morning in rain squalls.

The SSANZ Short Handed Triple Series is sponsored by NZ Rigging and Kiwi Yachting.

Here's how Will Calver saw the day:

Cold and squally start to this years SSANZ 100 Race. A few of the short handed boats had some bother with the squall that came through the fleet not long ater the start. Its bloody hard work dousing Kites in short order when there is only two of you

In case you were unaware, Will's well known landmark gallery in downtown Auckland has now moved to be located in the National Maritime Museum.
