2015 Sail Central Regional Championships gets underway

The 2015 Sail Central Regional Championships kicked off as part of the Hudson Yacht Club’s Annual Fruitbowl Regatta. This year is the 20th anniversary of the Fruitbowl Regatta at HYC and a total of 149 sailors are registered to race. Sailors are competing in the Laser, Radial, Laser 4.7, 420, Opti and Opti Green, Open Class, Byte CII and Boards.
US sailing team alumni and Olympian Zach Railey led two days of training prior to racing alongside Sail Canada Event Coaches Martin Robitaille, Rosie Chapman and Mike Todd. Many sailors took part in the training and the opportunity to learn from the knowledgeable and experienced coaches.
