An unmissable shoreside schedule for this year's regatta! With Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week only two weeks away we thought we’d share some of the shoreside highlights. It’s shaping up to be a great event this year!

As a long term supporter of British Sailing and the official car supplier to Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week, Volvo Car UK are bringing a host of entertainment, alongside the display of the latest Volvo car range in Cowes Yacht Haven. This will include the Volvo RS Sailing simulator, Volvo Sailing remote control boats and the Volvo Ocean Race podium - all with daily prizes. The Volvo Sailing Academy will be running on Saturday eighth August, with free sailing, kayaking and paddle boarding tuition from Team Volvo members of the British Sailing Team.

Visit the Sunsail Stand on Cowes Parade to find out more about sailing holidays to 26 amazing destinations and learning to sail in the UK and abroad! Plus, enter the competition to win a Yacht Charter in the BVI by guessing where the treasure is hidden on their Pirates Map. Join Sunsail for cocktail hour 1-2pm every day, where Official Gin Chilgrove Gin will be serving up a Cowes Week special! The fleet of 30 Sunsail Match First 40s will be racing on the water each day too.

Gill are once again sponsoring the stage in the Cowes Yacht Haven and are offering 10% off their products to all competitors upon presentation of a competitor card as well as 10% off for all women on Ladies Day. Visit their stand in the Yacht Haven. They are also running the #GillMostWanted competition. Snap a selfie with the man in the Gill kit and you could win a prize-pot of money to spend on Gill products. With every selfie uploaded the pot grows by £1 plus another £1 goes to the event charity UKSA. Happy snapping!

Chatham Marine, official footwear sponsor, will be offering a range of discounts and offers from their stand on Cowes Parade and will be running a daily competition on Cowes Radio. Listen out to win!

Nyetimber English sparkling wine will be served at all the event bars and ‘The Nyetimber’, a beautifully reimagined 1968 Routemaster bus, stopping at some of the UK’s most sought-after events this summer, will be in the Cowes Yacht Haven. The bus offers a luxurious, quintessentially British setting for passengers to relax and enjoy a glass of Classic Cuvee, Rosé or Blanc de Blancs. Nyetimber are also offering a complimentary masterclass and tasting to all competitors at 'The Nyetimber’ bus in Yacht Haven. To book, email info@nyetimber.com or simply present your wristband at the entrance to the bus.

Skincare sponsor Liz Earle will be showcasing their range of botanical beauty products on Cowes Parade. They will be offering complimentary manicures and hand and arm massages, as well as a special 20 minute facial for £20, redeemable against products. Visit their stand for an appointment.

Event sponsors will also be giving away prizes on Ladies Day, on and off the water, to all those who turn out in navy-and-white, in support of female participation and achievement in sailing.

Don't miss our fantastic displays: The Red Arrows will be performing at 18:50 on Thursday 13th August with the RAF Typhoon display at 19:30 on Friday 14th August, ahead of the spectacular Fireworks at 21:30.

We look forward to seeing you in two weeks time! For more information visit the event website.
