Practice and opening ceremony - ISAF Nations Cup Grand Final ISAF
Today on July 14th everybody whose name can be associated with ISAF Nations Cup Grand Final 2015 have arrived here in Vladivostok, Russia.

They are the 14 qualified teams from all continents and the whole international umpire team.
Each crew was given an opportunity to try Platu 25 and water area of Amurskiy Bay. There was very light wind after the Typhoon coming from China, but already by 7 pm the wind speed built up considerable and tomorrow we expect up to 20 knots for the first day of racing.

Juliana Senfft, BRA, 2013 Nations Cup winner:
“We hope that we can maintain our status. So, we are here for it, to defend that. Platu 25 are very fast boats, very sharp and powerful ones. We have to be strong to sail them.”

After the first skippers meeting and the press-conference, there was an opening ceremony of the ISAF Nations Cup 2015 where the teams had a chance to meet each other and communicate in a warm friendly atmosphere.

The first start is scheduled for 10 am tomorrow July 15th.
Double round-robin is planned for the Open Division and multi-round robin for five Women’s teams.

Semi-finals and finals will be sailed on weekend.
