2015 Volvo Noble Marine National Championship – Countdown begins

2015 Volvo Noble Marine National Championship – Early bird online entry discount ends Mon 14th July for the RS700 and RS800 Nationals at Castle Cove Sailing Club 20th-23rd August 2015.

The event starts on Thursday 20th August and concludes after 10 races with prize giving on Sunday 23rd August. There is still plenty of time to enter; but if you want to grab the £30 early bird entry discount you need to have entered and paid online by 0001hrs on Monday 14th July. Online entry will then be open until 0001hrs Tuesday 18th August after which time you will need to enter in person at registration.

Castle Cove Sailing Club is found in Weymouth Harbour, with stunning views across the waters that hosted the London 2012 Olympic sailing events.

The club have planned a great mix of spectacular racing, delicious home cooked food all day every day, fully stocked bar and really busy social schedule: Wednesday Commodore's Reception, Thursday Skittles Night and curry feast at The Wyke Smugglers pub, Friday the famous CCSC BBQ, Saturday Ceilidh with 'Swing your Partner' four-piece band, and finally Sunday the Prize Giving.

Clare Sargent, on behalf of the RS700 and RS800 Class Association commented “The RS700 and RS800 Classes are really excited to be sailing at such a great venue as Castle Cove Sailing Club. The racing is set to be exciting and demanding, and the shore side socials will be equally lively.”

Both fleets will benefit from Volvo's generous Win A Car for your Nationals Competition. This great competition is also running for the other RS Class Association fleet National championships this Summer.
