2015 Club Marine NSW Youth Match Racing Championship - The Cruising Yacht Club of Australia Youth Sailing Academy and Club Marine in association with Yachting New South Wales are pleased to announce the release of the Notice of Race.

CYCA Sailing Manager Justine Kirkjian explains that this event delivers an opportunity for sailors to further develop their sailing skills in a competitive environment.

“The entry age has been raised to Under 23 this year to bring the event in line with the ISAF World Youth Match Racing Championship which will further contribute to the quality of racing,” Kirkjian said.

“Club Marine has sponsored this event since 2004 and the CYCA are grateful for their ongoing support to continually produce quality sailors.”

CYCA Youth Sailing members to watch at this year’s event will be Harry Price and Caitlin Tames, who recently competed at the Australian Youth Match Racing Championship in Mooloolaba, Queensland with Price claiming overall victory.

Milly Bennett from the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club is also eligible for the event and has begun the season competing in the ISAF Women’s World Match Racing Championship in Middlefart, Denmark which begins in June.

The closing date for applications for entry is 1700hrs, Friday July 10, 2015.
