Sailors interested in participating in the 2016 Vic-Maui International Yacht Race are invited to the Vic-Maui Information Session at the Maple Room at the Strathcona Hotel, 919 Douglas Street, Victoria, this Friday, May 22 starting at 1:45 pm.

Vic-Maui, first sailed in 1965, is celebrating its first Half Century. Join us in Victoria at the Vic-Maui Information Session to mingle with veteran Vic-Maui sailors and learn more about Vic-Maui and Challenge • Adventure • Teamwork.

Swiftsure International Yacht Race

Swiftsure’s 2015 race week is May 21-25.

Swiftsure, now in its 72nd running, is one of the premier sailing events on the West Coast. Swiftsure is also a Vic-Maui Qualifying Race.

Swiftsure’s 2015 fleet includes:
2016 Vic-Maui early entrants
Kinetic, Kraken, Miles and Ion;
2014 Vic-Maui veterans
Alegria X, Family Affair, JAM, Kahuna, Kinetic, Longboard and String Theory;
2012 and earlier Vic-Maui participants
Atalanta, Bravo Zulu, Darby, Double Take, First Sight, HMCS Oriole, Marda Gras, Night Runner, Terremoto and Time Bandit, among others.

The 2016 Vic-Maui International Yacht Race is open for early entries

Online entry for the 2016 Vic-Maui is now open at official noticeboard and online entries.

The early entry time window runs from March 15, 2015 to September 15, 2015; the final entry deadline is February 3, 2016.

The Notice of Race has been published for the 2016 Vic-Maui International Yacht Race. It is available for download: here.
