The Clearwater Bay Golf and Country Club and its Marina, spread over 300 acres, with 3,000 members, is one of the most comprehensive private clubs in Asia with top recreation & dining facilities. It is operated by dedicated professionals and we are currently seeking a high calibre individual to join our dynamic team, in the position of:

Marina Manager


The Marina Manager is reporting to the General Manager and accountable to the General Committee. He or she is responsible for monitoring all aspects of marina & boatyard operations and ensuring the daily smooth run in order to facilitate the fulfillment of operational goals, providing excellent customer service as well as to comply with government requirements.

Responsibilities
- Plan, develop and monitor daily marina & boatyard operations, cultivate a team environment to provide consistent and exceptional customer service
- Maintain excellent relationship with members & boat crews, responsive to enquires and to resolve problems
- Maintain and ensure a safe facility environment and upkeep the standards for maintenance
- Implement preventive maintenance programs and comprehensive risk management
- Ensure the marina & boatyard operations comply with government requirements as well as the club policies
- Give comments or provide recommendations for boat repairs
- Recruit, train and supervise marina staff members, ensure all personnels to follow the established policies & procedures and statutory requirements
- Maintain financial records; manage and accountable for business results

Requirements
- Diploma or degree holder in related disciplines
- 10 years relevant work experience preferably gained from renowned marina club, with 5 years in a senior management role
- Holder of valid pleasure vessel competence certificate (Master & Engineer)
- Knowledge of dock repair & maintenance and hardware installation
- Capable of lifting and moving moderate to heavy yachts (certificates of fork-lift truck & gantry crane operations)
- Knowledge of sourcing locally & internationally specific marine parts for boat repairs & lifting appliances
- Experience of managing external boat repair subcontractors
- Local experience or knowledge acquaintance with Asian environment would be advantageous
- Project management experience is highly preferred
- Great customer service focus with excellent communication skills
- Good team player with strong leadership skills
- Excellent presentation skills with good computer knowledge to present conceptual ideas
- Good command of written & spoken English
