Gold Coast Marine Expo 2015 - The largest display of trailer boats

by Gold Coast Marine Expo on 16 Apr 2015
Expo 2015 will offer the largest display of trailer boats at any single location in Queensland - 2015 Gold Coast International Marine Expo Gold Coast Marine Expo www.gcmarineexpo.com.au
The largest display of trailer boats at any single location in Queensland – that’s just part of the unique X Factor set to inspire visitors at the 2015 Gold Coast International Marine Expo at Coomera from 21-24 May 2015.

The massive hardstand display of trailer boats is perhaps only equalled in scope and variety by the huge range of new and brokerage yachts, sailing vessels, equipment and accessories available exclusively at Expo this year.

And while Event and Marketing Manager Emma Milne said that there is always plenty of interest in the larger luxury yachts at Expo, but just as much interest in the range of fishing, family fun, specialty water sports boats, houseboats, party pontoons and sailing vessels.

“Most people get their first taste of the joys and rewards of boating life aboard a trailer boat … and many actually prefer the versatility of a boat that you can take with you anywhere,” she said.

“Many larger yacht owners also require tenders or own specialty fishing boats so it’s very valuable to have this diversity of boats on display all in the one location.”

Just five weeks out from ‘Australia’s new paradigm of boat show’, Expo has also announced their ‘Come By Boat’ service for visitors with water transfers from a designated anchorage just north of the Gold Coast Marine Precinct at Coomera for a nominal $2 per trip donation that goes directly to supporting the much-valued efforts of VMR Jacobs Well.

Also this week, Expo has revealed the Australian Premiere of the new range of innovative Dragonfly fish-finders – including the high-resolution, smartphone and tablet-integrated Wi-Fish – from worldwide marine electronics giant Raymarine.

And, confirming the Expo’s stature among marine industry leaders, organisers have also this week announced an exclusive partnership with global engine powerhouse Cat Marine to provide free transport between the event’s 2000 free car-parks and the five key event sites. The free transport is provided via licensed ferry with live entertainment between the three Expo marinas, and via courtesy buses running the entire length of Waterway Drive and seamlessly linking the five key event sites spanning almost 50 hectares and including the biggest recreational ship yards, yacht and aluminium boat-building facilities in the southern hemisphere.

Ms Milne said the massive line-up of trailer boats ensured the Expo lived up to its promise of being ‘a massive showcase of all things aquatic – from luxury motor yachts to jet skis, kayaks to fishing equipment … and everything in between’.

“We will have all the major trailer boating brands here at Expo – a mammoth display of big and small boats many of which are exclusively at Expo – in fact over 400 boats are so far confirmed… all built for the absolute enjoyment of their owners.”

Some of the major marques included among the growing list of exhibitors are Bayliner, Bay sport, BRIG, Crest Liner, Cabriolet, Formosa, Four Winns, Karnic, Haines Hunter, Havana, Horizon, Nautique, Oceania, Quintrex, Savage, Sealegs, Sirocco, Sports Cruiser, Stacer, Yellowfin, Scout, Tournament and Wellcraft … to name just some.

“In fact Quintrex will showcase all of its 2015 range exclusively at the Expo, most of them being seen for the first time at a boat show anywhere in the world, as part of their biggest ever boat show display anywhere in the world,” said Ms Milne.

We will also have a huge range of outboards and accessories, including the major brands such as Evinrude, Honda, Mercury and Yamaha, in addition to a vast array of fish-finders, depth-sounders, rod-holders, winches … in fact everything you need to enjoy your time on the water in your trailer boat, all in one place right here at Expo.

“Add to that interactive and fun family attractions and live entertainment across our giant 3km Club Marine display circuit, as well as the award-winning Blues on Broadbeach music festival … and both locals and visitors are set for a fantastic four days of fun on the Gold Coast from 21-24 May.”

If you love boating, you’ll love the Gold Coast in May!
