Superyacht UK Tour of Excellence underway

The British Marine Federation (BMF) and group association Superyacht UK (SYUK) has been promoting British Excellence to a global audience on the Tour of Excellence this week.

Nearly 20 international delegates have visited a range of BMF members, from designers through to shipbuilders, to see firsthand the quality of British products and craftsmanship coming out of the UK for the superyacht market.

The tour, which started on Monday, has visited Sunseeker International, Solent Refit, Green Marine, Oyster Yachts, BMT Nigel Gee, Oceanair Marine, Lewmar, Magma Structures, Design Unlimited, Dixon Yacht Design and Pendennis Shipyard, with a visit to Princess Yachts tomorrow (Friday).

By this evening, delegates will have had the opportunity to network with some 50 key businesses at the specially organised Showcase evenings – last night in Southampton and a second taking place this evening in Falmouth.
