National One Design Sailing is proud to support and be part of a unique three-part opportunity for Women's racing around the Western end of Lake Ontario.

Women and Wind - Ashore

The Oakville Club will be hosting a classroom-based event on Saturday, April 18th. The day offers two different learning streams depending on your existing racing knowledge base, both a beginner stream and a more advanced stream. Keynote speaker will be Jody Swanson, three-time US Sailng's Rolex Yachtswomen of the Year. Cost is $60.00 before April 10th, which includes lunch.

Women and Wind - Afloat

Now it is time to move from the classroom onto the water. Spend the day with the National One Design team on Saturday, May 30th at our Oakville base. This program is designed to take your sailing skills and move them onto the racecourse. Come by yourself or as part of an existing crew and step aboard our Flying Tiger 7.5m sailboats.

Women on the Water - WOW Regatta

Time to put all the pieces together and have fun on the racecourse with all these new skills at this one-day regatta, June 20th. This fifth annual event organized by Lori Mason (formally of The Store) and her team, at Etobicoke Yacht Club. New for this year, is the addition of a Spinnaker fleet to the Main and Jib fleet.
