On board video of Mapfre doing a Chinese Gybe in the Southern Ocean.
According to crew member Rob Greenhalgh the Spanish entry nose-dived off a wave and went into a crash - Chinese gybe.

The crew aboard Team SCA also had a crash gybe or similar during the night. From interview footage off the boat, they all seem to be OK, and were proceeding at less than full-race pace until daylight when they could properly assess damage to sails and battens, get the stack of sails re-positioned and generally collect their wits.
