Party Schedule - St. Maarten Heineken Regatta St. Maarten Heineken Regatta http://www.heinekenregatta.com
For years the St. Maarten Heineken Regatta has pulled out all the stops when it comes to on the water racing, and on shore parties, which is what has made the event the success that it is. For the 35th anniversary edition, things will be no different.

This year the Sint Maarten Yacht Club and Heineken are pleased to bring you the largest party St.Maarten has ever seen, the Thursday night Green Sensation Party. On March 5th, Port de Plaisance will host the Green Sensation party to kick off the regatta festivities, and organizers are promising it will be a night to remember.

The evening will be packed with local DJ talents as well as international mixing artists to deliver electronic music meets pop, disco, rock and the hottest beats that only Heineken can deliver. The different DJ beats will combine to offer up one cool vibe . Dj Nachum, Heineken Caribbean DJ champion, will team up with Soggy Dollar Bar DJ Bossman, to bring you a nonstop party vibe. But it doesn't stop there, making an appearance from New York City's hottest nightclubs, DJ Riz and Chris Moody will deliver a new energy that can only be described as Green Sensation!

According to Moody 'SikDuo came to fruition in 2011 when DJ culture pioneer DJ Riz (Crooklyn Clan) and myself, a house music prodigy, joined forces to release our massive bootleg of Boney M's 'Daddy Cool'. Since then, we have been aggressively working in the studio crafting and honing the SikDuo sound. The duo highlights the unlimited potential that can be found when you bring two successful Producer/DJs from two different backgrounds together, combining skills, experiences, extensive music knowledge and perspectives to create a sound that is bigger, more unique, and ready to spread on a global scale.'

'In 2014 SikDuo continued to build our fan base with 2 releases teaming up with house music legend Harry Romero. The single 'Hot Beats' was released earlier in the year on Cr2 Records while our second single 'One Machine' recently dropped in mid October on Toolroom Records. Continuing with our signature big room drum sounds, SikDuo gave away 'Get Hit' and 'Feel The Drums' which also gained much support from 'A List' DJs and exclusive premieres on SiriusXM gaining 10s of thousands of plays and downloads from our fans.'

This is the first time that Heineken is hosting a Green Sensation party during the St. Maarten Heineken Regatta and it is expected to be the largest dance party of the year. With free entrance and a wide variety of food and drinks available on property, this night promises to be filled with dancing, thrills and surprises. The music kicks off at 5:00pm and will continue on until midnight, because as we all know, the sailors need to get some shut eye so that they can compete in the Around the Island race on Friday morning. So mark your calendars and join us for 35 years of Serious Fun.
