Australian 4x4 and Marine Expo feature a full program of entertainment

The inaugural Australian 4x4 and Marine Expo at Manly Boat Harbour on March 6-8 will feature a full program of entertainment and interactive activities for the whole family to enjoy.

Brisbane's first, on water, Marine and 4x4 exhibition will include an on water demonstrations area and marina for test rides as well as a purpose built Adventure Track, that will host racing, demonstrations, entertainment and for the first time, test drives.

The On Water Demonstration Zone will feature jet skis, boat launches, jet pack entertainment and a range of safety demonstration with industry professionals while Yachting Queensland and the Discover Sailing program will offer free sailing experiences for children at the event.

Visitors with a passion for getting off the beaten track will be able to immerse themselves in a range of activities at the Adventure Track presented by Oricom. From daily demonstrations featuring tips and techniques on safety, recovery, vehicle setup and traction boards to test drives and test rides on a special course, designed to simulate off-road terrain.

Consumers will also be able to participate in a range of seminars and workshops at the Briz31 Seminar Hub and Engel Fishing Stage. The Briz31 Seminar Hub will present a selection of industry experts with real 4wd and adventure experience, providing tutorials and workshops on areas including GPS navigation, map reading, photography, new vehicle electronics, towing and solar.



Over at the Engel Fishing Stage show goers will be invited to take part in talks, demonstrations and activities with some of Australia’s most respected names in recreational fishing including Ernie Dingo, Dave Hodge, Matthew Hubbard and Paul Burt.

Australian 4x4 and Marine Expo Event Manager Paul Morgan said the expo provided entertainment and activities for the whole family.

'We are very excited to premiere a new style of 4x4 and Marine exhibition at the picturesque Manly Boat Harbour,' Morgan said.

'The Australian 4x4 and Marine Expo offers consumers an event that combines the latest products and services from leading companies, live on water and on track demonstrations, family entertainment, interactive information sessions and activities and a great day out for the adventure loving enthusiast.

This fresh and unique style of expo, breathes new life into the old, uninspiring type of consumer exhibitions. Located on the shores of Moreton Bay, just 20kms from the CBD, the new location provides a scenic backdrop which compliments the 120 plus exhibitors, entertainment and activities that's truly the one stop shop for all your outdoor recreational needs.

'With an affordable entry price of $13 for adults and kids under 15 admitted FREE, it is a great day out for all the family. We also encourage show visitors attending the event, to relax and take in the charm and atmosphere of the Manly Harbour Village, located nearby,' Morgan added.

The inaugural event, which encompasses the proven Explore Australia Expo and Queensland favourite, Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show, offers consumers a spy, try and buy experience, all in the one place.

Visitors to the Australian 4x4 and Marine Expo will have the chance to win a 4x4 and marine package valued at $10,000 thanks to Narva and Boating and RV. All ticket purchasers will receive an entry form for the competition which can be lodged in the entry boxes located at the Narva or Boating and RV stands at the show.

Plus, everyone who purchases tickets online here will go into the draw to win a Maritimo Experience courtesy of Get Into Boating, valued at $6,090.00. The unique experience is for five people and includes a cruise on the Gold Coast Broadwater on board a luxury 58' Maritimo Boat to Couran Cove, overnight accommodation and dinner at Couran Cove’s 'The Restaurant'.
