Challenge your friends to Drop a Buoy for Team Brunel

For the third time in its history, Brunel is sponsoring a team in the Volvo Ocean Race. As the contest rambles on, the teams set their course for Auckland in the fourth leg of the race. Team Brunel endeavours on a bold move, taking a northern route, and is ready to take it up a notch for another great result. To help them achieve this, Brunel calls upon its fans to ‘Challenge Your Friends’ and show their support.

Success in the Volvo Ocean Race is not dependent only on the sailors but demands the devoted support of all Team Brunel fans out there. To make this possible Brunel created a smart digital ‘fan-gagement’ platform called ‘Drop a Buoy’. With over 15.000 buoys dropped already and counting, the Drop a Buoy platform has shown to be a great way to cheer for Team Brunel fans with which they can win great prizes such as a trip for two to the final of the Volvo Ocean Race in Gothenburg.

After a disappointing fifth place in Sanya, Brunel now calls upon all buoy-droppers to invite their friends to take the support for the team to the next level and cheer them to victory once more. The best way to do this is using a cool new feature in Drop a Buoy called ‘Challenge your friends’. It enables players to invite friends, family and colleagues on Facebook to compete in a special friends ranking.

It’s with this ‘Challenge Your Friends’ addition to the Drop a Buoy platform Brunel sets out to return to their moment of glory again.
