Southampton Boat Show - RYA Mega Prize Draw winner announced + Video

The RYA Mega Prize Draw competition was held at the 2014 PSP Southampton Boat Show. A very shocked and surprised Derek Mayhew from Ipswich has been announced as the winner.



Derek, who was picked from amongst the 1500 entries, scooped a whopping £3,000 worth of prizes in the winner takes all competition that ran throughout the 2014 PSP Southampton Boat Show.

'I’m not accustomed to winning competitions, so this came as a complete surprise, I even double checked that Gemma worked for the RYA I was that surprised' commented Derek.

'We enjoy visiting the boat show and really didn’t consider we’d be winners of this amazing prize; we’ve now just got to work out where to put it all!'

Derek’s mega prize bundle included:

New Caledonia Groupama Race update
