RYA Push the Boat Out will be running over nine days, for the first time ever, giving even more people the opportunity to experience sailing and windsurfing across the UK.

With two weekends and five weekdays, clubs and centres will be running even more activities to appeal to a wide range of people, showcasing what our sport offers, from the freedom of being on the water, to the social buzz, the thrill of racing and the fact there really is something for everyone.

If you’re involved in running a club or centre and you’ve never hosted a Push the Boat Out event before, make sure you get involved this year! Clubs and centres can now register their Push the Boat Out taster sessions.

RYA Club Support Advisor Jackie Bennetts said: 'Push the Boat Out 2014 was a huge success, probably our biggest and best yet and it was fantastic to see so many clubs and centres taking part with record-breaking numbers out on the water.

‘But we’re already looking forward to seeing the different options and opportunities that will be on offer for all ages and abilities this year simply by extending the event. RYA Push the Boat Out 2015 promises to be even better!'

Earlswood Lake Sailing Club said: 'Push the Boat Out can tick two very big boxes for sailing clubs and the sport as a whole. Firstly it raises awareness in the local community of the fact that there are opportunities to discover sailing on most people’s doorsteps. Secondly it is an opportunity to convert visitors into course bookings or membership there and then.'

If your club or centre is holding an event for the public during RYA Push the Boat Out a range of promotional materials will be available.

Information will also be provided including the Push the Boat Out- Essential Guide, which is packed full of advice and information on how make the most of your open day or taster sessions. Club members can also attend the PTBO ‘activator’ workshop taking place on Sunday 01 March at the RYA Suzuki Dinghy Show.

RYA Push the Boat Out sessions must be registered by early March. For more information and to register a Push the Boat Out event visit website.
