Solarshield - an antiglare roller blind for the marine environment SW
Oceanair, leading supplier of blinds, shades, screens, and soft furnishings in the marine market, has introduced the new Solarshield – a Lloyd’s approved antiglare roller blind that has been optimised for the marine environment.
The unique roller blind blocks 99% of the sun’s harmful UV rays and rejects up to 80% of the sun’s energy and is ideal for use on bridges to improve visibility in bright conditions and reduce heat, glare and eye strain.
This soft window treatment option offers boat owners with a perfect combination of privacy in the day, optimum control of heat and light and helps conserve energy costs. Further benefits of the Solarshield include preventing unwanted glare on computer screens, protecting fading of interior furnishings and importantly protecting skin from the sun.
Available on guide wires, Solarshield is perfectly suited to inclined surfaces, and can either be operated manually or electronically. Perfect for ship bridges, whole banks of blinds can be operated either via remote or through a central control system
For a perfect fit, each Solarshield blind is custom built incorporating the antiglare fabric.
Oceanair also offers a complete turn-key service from measurement to installation to all customers.
