Brisbane to Gladstone Multihull Yacht Race - Major sponsor announced

Brisbane to Gladstone Multihull Yacht Race organisers, The Multihull Yacht Club Queensland, is pleased to announce that APC Logistics are once again major sponsors. After last year’s successful 50th Anniversary of the MYCQ Brisbane to Gladstone race, APC Logistics have continued their support for the event.

As usual the race will start from Shorncliff on Good Friday (3rd April 2015). All race documents, including the notice of race, are now available from the clubs website and the Race Briefing will commence at 1900 hrs on Wednesday 1st April.

BOQ Team Australia, Sean Langman’s ORMA 60, which three years ago performed perfectly in fairly light conditions to take the treble, Line Honours, 1st OMR and a new record of 16hrs 28mins 21sec to eclipse the previous record held by Martin Riley’s Raw Nerve by 2hrs 26mins 48sec. What will they do to the record if they get a more typical 20-25kt Sou-easter!!!!
