Super Boat International announce official fuel supplier

by Super Boat International on 10 Jan 2015
2015 SBI Racing Season Super Boat International
Super Boat International (SBI) is proud to announce Southern Racing Fuels, as the official supplier of Sunoco Race Fuels for the 2015 and 2016 SBI racing season. The new agreement joins Super Boat with the top racing fuel supplier and fuel brand in America. Details for available on event-site fueling, prices and other offers by Southern Racing Fuels will be forthcoming.

The new 'Official Fuel' of Super Boat, like that of NASCAR is important to race organizations. President John Carbonell comments, 'We are very proud to have Southern Racing Fuels onboard as an official sponsor for the next few years. They have supported us in the past and hopefully this continues to be a long standing relationship.' SBI continues to bring on new sponsors and partners for the 2015 season and beyond. Carbonell continues, 'I think this is going to be a very pivotal year not only in boat racing, but in our economy. We had great support from our race teams last year and they have already shown their commitment and passion to join us in 2015. With lower fuel prices, it will help our race teams as long as the economy stays strong. Many others have commented on their forecast for next year and I believe it is going to be a very good year.

Southern Racing Fuels provides great products and will be a great addition to the Super Boat schedule for 2015 and beyond. Here are some Sunoco fuel facts:

• Significantly exceed U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) gasoline detergency standards.
• All grades of Sunoco fuel contain the same level of detergent.
• Sunoco fuels are subject to additional testing by an independent, third-party lab to further ensure their quality.
• Contain other additives such as corrosion inhibitors and antioxidants, which help to ensure fuel quality.
• Promote a longer 'shelf life', which means the fuel will last longer in between uses.
• Sunoco gas stations filter and trap particles as small as 10 microns from the gasoline before it gets into your tank.
• Does not contain methanol and contains no more than 10% ethanol.
• Sunoco fuels do not contain MMT, a manganese-based fuel additive banned by the EPA in certain types of fuels.
