2014 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race - Perpetual Loyal has retired from the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race this morning.
Perpetual Loyal has advised it has hull damage and is unable to continue in the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia’s 628 nautical mile race.
No other information is available at this stage. We will update you once we know more details.
The fleet now stands at 109 with eight retirements: Tina of Melbourne, Bear Necessity, Willyama, Last Tango, Occasional Coarse Language Too, Triton, and Brindabella and Perpetual Loyal.
