IFDS Worlds 2014 New Video Memories - Halifax is just a click away!

by Kathy Large on 17 Dec 2014 The IFDS 2014 Worlds at the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron may be a just a memory by now. But as you reflect back on the year, we hope you will agree that week of competition in Halifax, Nova Scotia set a new standard for disabled sailing. It was the largest world regatta yet with 18 SKUD-18 teams, 14 Sonar teams and 49 2.4mR competitors and the largest number of countries participating.

There were some challenging days finding enough wind to race. However, each class selected a world champion for the year and many competitors expressed their appreciation for the facilities at the Squadron and for the event organization.
