RAYC Missing Cannon Suellen Hurling
A very rare cannon belonging to the Royal Akarana Yacht Club has been stolen.
This cannon dates back to the 1900 which makes it 114 years old and its value to the club is priceless. It weighs about 20kgs and has been on display for many years.
The cannon was removed from the front foyer within the last two weeks and has been reported as stolen to the Police.
If you happen to know of its whereabouts RAYC would be very appreciative if it could please be returned ASAP. They will gladly take it back, no questions asked.
The photos are of the second cannon, the two were a pair.
