2015 Melges 24 World Championship - The Notice of Race has been published for the Melges 24 World Championship 2015 and Melges 24 sailors from across the globe are welcome to make their entries for this event that takes place from 30th June to 5th July 2015 in Middelfart, Denmark.

The Melges 24 World Championship 2015 will be organised by the Match Racing Denmark with Middelfart Sailing Club in co-operation with the International Melges 24 Class Association. The online entry, the Notice of Race, and other information about the venue is available here. In the Notice of Race the sailors will find all necessary information about classification, rules, fees, qualifying series, schedule, etc.

The organizers are delighted to announce, that sixty-nine teams from sixteen countries have signed up for the championship - and there are still 208 days to go!

At the event website additional useful information can be found about the accommodation during the event. A special 'Melges-24-Worlds-2015-Package' is available for the crews, their families, and officials while staying in Middelfart. To get the best deal, the organizers have been negotiating event prices with three hotels, which can be found at the event's website. Check them out!



Competitors who place and pay for their entry before 1 April 2015 can take advantage of the early bird entry rate of Euro 750. Entries placed from 2 to 30 April will pay an entry fee of Euro 975. Entries placed between 1 and 31 May will pay an entry fee of Euro 1125 and then entries made until June 15 will pay an entry fee of Euro 1315. The closing date for all entries and the final date for submission of Corinthian Crew Lists will be 15 June.

Event dates:

• Saturday 27th to Monday 29th of June: Measurement and registration
• Monday 29th of June: Practice race and the Opening Ceremony at the Hindsgavl Castle
• Tuesday 30rd of June to Sunday fifth of July: 2015 Melges 24 World Championship
• Sunday fifth of July: Closing Ceremony
