Cobia 334 center consoles Simrad Yachting
Simrad Yachting, a leader in the design and manufacture of world-class marine navigation, autopilot, radar, communications and fish finding systems, announced today its partnership with Maverick Boat Company. Maverick’s Cobia brand of center console, dual console and bay boats have long had a reputation for stunning performance and value. The latest release from the industry-leading brand, the 334 high-performance center console, will include the Simrad NSO evo2 glass bridge as its standard navigation system.

The Cobia 334 with triple Yamaha 300-horsepower outboard engines offers the latest advances in power boating — all tailored to ensure owners the best experience on the water. Its electronics package consists of dual 16-inch multi-touch NSO evo2 monitors mounted with Teak Isle’s flat-mount process and incorporates autopilot, open array radar, CHIRP sonar, GoFree® wireless, satellite weather, SonicHub® entertainment, as well as the feature-rich Simrad RS35 VHF radio with Bluetooth® wireless remote handset.

Offering dual-discrete video output with full HD resolution, the NSO evo2’s black box system is two powerful MFDs in one. The system’s quad-core processors deliver unprecedented, completely independent display, performance and control of the latest in navigation functionality. Key features are quickly accessible from the system’s icon-driven home screen. Charts can be moved, zoomed and personalized with familiar consumer electronics gestures, and the screen splits and data-panel configurations are optimized for widescreen viewing.

'We are excited to extend our Cobia line with the new 334 center console,' said Scott Deal, president, Maverick Boats. 'Every Cobia is built with only the highest grade composite materials, components and hardware. The incredible capabilities, stylish finish and overall durability of the Simrad NSO evo2 displays will enhance our owners’ experience.'

'Maverick Boat Company’s Cobia brand is one of the leading designers of quality powerboats,' said Leif Ottosson, CEO, Navico. 'Selecting the NSO evo2 as the centerpiece for their new center console is a testament to the functionality and value of our products. We are proud to be a part of this process.'
