The AXXON Composites new OST Carbon Furling Mast was nominated to DAME 2014. It is one of the 45 nominations from 116 entries/23 nationalities all over the world.
The OST is the first furling mast which is manufactured in a single Autoclave curing (One Shot).
Lighter than the existing carbon masts on the market, the weight saving compared to an aluminium mast is between 30% and 40%.
The OST Carbon Furling Mast AXXON improves comfort on the boat : less pitch, less roll. The mast is stiffer, more efficient.
