RS Aero Fleet Lift-Off events

by RS Aero Sailing on 11 Nov 2014
Bowmoor's Bubble RS Aero
An ever increasing number of UK sailing clubs have RS Aero fleets starting up. RS Aero Class Manager, Peter Barton, offers any club with a new fleet the opportunity to run a Fleet Lift-Off event this winter after their boats are delivered, with training to give the Aero sailors a head start on boat set-up and sailing techniques, followed by multiple short races putting the knowledge into action. Other RS Aero sailors in the region are welcome to join in.

The Fleet Lift-Off events will start this autumn, with dates planned so far:

15-16th November at Bowmoor SC
22-23rd November at Chelmarsh SC

On the Saturdays of these weekends there will be coaching, racing and demoing with RS providing two demo boats for interested parties to take turns in. On the Sundays visitors are invited to join the established Aero club’s club races. Full details of these events can be found here.

As soon as your club has five or more boats contact Peter Barton to plan your Lift-Off day - peter.barton@rsaerosailing.org.

If your club is one stage before that and you wish to organise an RS Aero test day, then join the queue! Contact Charlie Merchant at RS Sailing who will be happy help - charlie@rssailing.com.
