Route du Rhum - François Angoulvant hélitreuillé

Ce dimanche soir à 23h25, le Cross Corsen a reçu les signaux des deux balises de détresse du bateau Team Sabrosa SBR40 de François Angoulvant (Class40). La direction de course a alors essayé de contacter le bord par les différents moyens satellite sans succès. Simultanément, le Cross a fait décoller un hélicoptère NH90 SAR de l'escadrille de la 33F qui était en alerte et fait appareiller la vedette de Ploumanac'h (SNS 098) pour se rendre sur zone dans le nord de Perros Guirec.

A 00h40, le contact était établi entre l'hélicoptère et la coque retournée du bateau sur laquelle François s'était hissé. Peu de temps après, le skipper était héliporté, sain et sauf, puis acheminé vers Brest pour un contrôle médical.
