C’est parti pour la 10e Route du Rhum-Destination Guadeloupe

Route du Rhum-Destination Guadeloupe 2014 - A 14h00, dans un vent de sud-sud-ouest d’une quinzaine de nœuds et sous un ciel très contrasté, les 91 concurrents de la Route du Rhum-Destination Guadeloupe, étalés sur une ligne de départ longue de 4 km, se sont élancés au milieu de plusieurs centaines de bateaux spectateurs. Cap sur la Guadeloupe, après 3542 milles de navigation.

Mais avant cela, il faudra passer la bouée du cap Fréhel que les Ultimes devraient atteindre vers 15 heures. Il faudra ensuite affronter une première nuit de navigation musclée pour sortir de la Manche, au près, dans un vent de plus de 25 nœuds et une mer forte.
