Brunswick names Dekker VP, General Counsel and Secretary

by Brunswick on 28 Oct 2014 Brunswick Corporation (NYSE:BC) has announced that Christopher F. Dekker, 46, has been named Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. He reports to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Dustan E. McCoy.

Dekker, who joined Brunswick in 2010 as associate general counsel - litigation and employment, most recently had served as interim general counsel and secretary for the Company.

Dekker previously had been with Caterpillar, Inc., where he held a variety of positions in its law department, most recently as senior corporate counsel for Caterpillar Logistics. Prior to joining Caterpillar in 2001, Dekker served with two leading Chicago law firms.
