Tauranga Boat Expo - Lancer and Sea Blade attend for the first time

The Tauranga Boat Expo has proven a popular attraction for marine enthusiasts outside the main centres.

This year, Lancer has chosen to join the show as part of their tour introducing the market to Sea Blade as well as their other exciting products.

The main focus will be showcasing the revolutionary Sea Blade hull form and its attributes over other options prior to the release of a production version in 2015. It will be a must visit stand for people wanting to see the cutting edge of innovation.

Another must see attraction is the massive Lancer 20m Stand Up Paddleboard that was used in the successful Guinness World Record attempt for 'Most People on a Stand Up Paddleboard'. The record was set last month at the Auckland on Water Boat Show with 52 paddlers completing a 100m course. Made by Lancer out of the same drop stitch material used in the Airodock, the attempt was successful and the record was set with ease.

Lancer RIBs have always been synonymous for quality and longevity whether it is for a luxury or commercial application. Lancer is reinvigorating the 4-6m RIB range and has had a sharp pencil when looking at the pricing. There will be show specials on its entire range.

General Manager Charles Winstone says 'We have had a look at how we can improve the production of the RIBs and have updated the construction process to reflect the latest methods and technology. This has been very beneficial on the cost'.

Also on display at Lancer’s site will be a variety of inflatable tenders, fenders, and showcases of Lancer’s ability for bespoke design. Lancer’s stand is located at Stand eight.
